Click here to see the flyer and read all the details. | | 14 August 2008: It’s time to start planning and preparing for our annual Hawaiian Night Extravaganza! Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 4, and plan on bringing your entire family to this always-fun-filled event. Tickets will be available soon. Each year, Hawaiian Night is our major fundraising event, so please support Post 383 with your attendance. We also need volunteers to help with ticket sales and setting up the hall. Please contact Ron Stadtman (863-5885) if you’d like to help out. | | 8 April 2008: California American Legion District 6 now has a new web site at www.CALegion6.org - go to the Legion Links page to find the link. | 27 September 2007: US Senate Bill 1877 (James Inhofe, R-OK) would allow ununiformed military personnel and veterans to salute the flag (present arms) in lieu of placing their right hands over their hearts.
STATUS: Passed unanimously by the Senate on 25 July. Sent to the House on 26 July. Referred to the House Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties on 10 August. |
